I cant really comment on the bike store part. I dont care about bikes in the slightest, which makes me a rarity amongst middle aged men.The motoring section of Halfords has helped me out many times over the years. Batteries, touch up paints, bulbs, fuses, Radweld, sealants, fuel additives, replacement mirrors , number plates, etcetera etcetera etcetera. Theres a lot of expertise available, especially on the parts counter, so ask. If youre in a dash, Halfords will even fit certain parts for you while you wait too.
Called in to get help with a part for the car. Assistant called Miles was very helpful
Phoned and explained the problem with my wife's ebike and was told to take it to the shop for them to have a look .when I got there I was told without them even looking at the bike that there was nothing that they can do because they don't touch the electrics on ebikes I live 9 miles away .totally amateur wasted time and money
