This company treated me and really well in all the dealings I've had with them. When we had problems with our pet they were very fair, kind and professional. These people love animals. Highly recommended.
Love it here could spend hours looking around! It's lovely to be able to take my dog shopping for his own treats and toys.
I buy live food here for my bearded dragon and turtles. They nearly always have a good amount of stock here, there has only been a couple of occassions that I haven't been able to get what I went in for.
Pets at home have been amazing as have the vets within the store. Last week we had to have our beautiful german shepherd put to sleep. The staff will try their best to find products that will help or find alternatives if they dont stock the item your looking for. With their points card they will send you vouchers relevant to your individual type of pet based on what you buy normally
Brought 4 gold fish for my Grandson's and Sadly after a week two died and as my Grandson is Autistic and only 4 we buried "Freddie and Eddie his two Fish" in the Garden, i returned to Pet's at home with my Autistic Grandson to Purchase new fish for him as I'd explained that his 2 had sadly gone to Heaven and when we went to choose so new one's we noticed that there were 9 dead large gold fish in the tank to which he became extremely upset so i told him that they were rubber ones for the fish to plat with!!! As even Fish need toys and I then asked to speak to the Manager. I explained the situation and the manager was extremely rude and said it was our fault it must of been our PH levels were incorrect... i explained that my husband had and i had had large tanks for over 30 years and that this was not the case and was extremely I found them to be extremely unsympathetic and horribly RUDE. The manager then said for them to consider to replace to to RIP Fish they wanted a sample of our tank water an both the fish back for examination. And once the tests were back from their experts then they would ring me. Again I explained that we had buried the poor fish and again my Grandson started crying saying he missed them. Therefore we walked out and i will NEVER EVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. BTW,The other two i brought from there lasted a week, and them we scrubbed the tank and brought 4 new fish from a local fish tank and so far they have been alive just over a year and are getting really big!!! And YEP we did EXACTLY THE SAME to the next tank we set up and the PH levels were virtually spot on!!! Maybe that's why a Minimum of 13 fish that we know of.... did from just that tank !!!!!Can you imagine how a Severely Autistic Child or any child would be id you had you dig the fish you love up just to take it back to the shop, Shame on you Pets at Home
