Good sized room, comfortable bed, good shower, very good restaurant, friendly staff. Would definitely return.

Had a good evening and night at the great house - room was smaller than anticipated and bathroom bigger than anticipated. The main light didn't work in the room and considering I was shown to my room by staff I'm surprised it wasn't offered to be fixed. Staff were friendly, service was quite slow but I wasn't in a hurry so didn't bother me at all, was definitely a relaxed atmosphere. Food was good, what I would expect for the price paid. Quality of the steak (ribeye) was better than your standard hotel restaurant but nothing to write home about. It was cooked very well which definitely helped. All in all I would probably stay again if needed, but won't book again "just because".
Good value taster menu. Restaurant has new head chef, so rebranding andrebuilding it's reputation. Good food, good service certainly worth a visit.
Afternoon tea 15 per head. Choice 3 finger sandwich's. Nice desserts. Came back once to see if we needed more tea/coffee. Had to go to bar for bill and it was wrong. Nice seating outdoors.
