I like to think I know about chip shops having worked in this industry for years but I don't understand this shop. Lots of staff running around but service is dead slow. Food is tasteless and greatly overpriced. Shop has good hygiene rating and is nicely decorated this place used to be award winning. What happened.

Always consistently great food! Not the cheapest but you truly get what you pay for. Very busy very often which is another good thing

2.80 GBP for a bag of chips? You're having a laugh. Customer service leaves something to be desired too. I want to say this is good but it isn't. I note all the one stars in reviews. Comment from owner?

This is easily the best fish and chip shop about. Yes, it's on the pricey side but I'd always be happy to pay it because you know you're gonna get a food meal. Fish, chips and Irish curry is the best!

Stood head and shoulders below the worst F&C I have ever had. Expensive. Should peas appear to be brown and taste like..er..brown? Fish tasty but small, should have been thrown back. Batter not at all nice. Chips would have been better raw. There are better uses for old engine oil than frying. Nice pretty blue box though, almost a shame it went in the bin 2/3 full. This shop would not survive in Manchester.....and just when I thought it could not get worse: no less than FIVE explosive trips to the gents over about four Hours . 4 service stations and one unfortunate piece of woodland. And I had BRIEFLY thought that maybe my taste buds had malfunctioned.
