I bought a Vauxhall Astra from Pinetree Car Superstore Port Talbot (now in Tonypandy) in May 2018. When I bought the car, they performed a service but could not provide proof of what work was done. I also had to return the car within the first few days when the Service Vehicle Soon light remained on which I am now aware shows a fault. 3 months later; the windscreen wipers stopped working so I took the car for repair at their Bridgend site. Since then, they have attempted to return the car back 3 times over a period of over 1 month and each time I have had to take the car back with the same or different fault. Communication was very poor initially but improved only after approximately 2 weeks when I finally got a courtesy car. After approximately 1 month, I asked for a replacement and was offered trade value as part exchange which I considered unreasonable. I then had to chase them to get a replacement and was offered a very poor finance deal and still a significant reduction in the value of my car. I ended up getting a refund at a significant loss. Customer service was less than adequate at the start but did improve somewhat until i was told that I was unethical when I said I was going to post a review. I would NOT recommend buying a car from Pinetree Car Superstores.
